Reducing nipple
We offer reducing nipples in various qualities. Regardless whether brass, nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, plastic or galvanised steel, all form a transition from a male thread to a female thread. They serve for adapting various threads and thread types. For example, it is possible with these reducing nipples to reduce from a large thread to a small thread or to enlarge from a small thread to a large thread. Furthermore it is possible to adapt from a metric thread for example to an imperial thread and vice versa. Practical tip: Often an exotic adapter can be built with the metric and imperial threads of a cutting ring fitting.
